Few days ago, on our Baby Language Development Workshop by Dr. Sabahat, children had a blast. They played at Farry's Baby Spa with all of their favourite swim toys while their moms got schooled by Dr Sabahat on how children learn languages and how should we interact with children in their young ages when they develop habits from parents. And at the end of the session, there was the tea party for all the children along with their moms to enjoy.

Farry's Baby Spa and Wellness work parallel on the needs and luxury of babies and infant. We provide the various luxurious products like Royal Baby Spa, Float Therapy, Baby Massage and Bubble Bath. But for our wellness center, we conduct special workshops like storytelling and language development with the great specialist to help parents in interacting and understand their babies and infants.

Dr. Sabahat - Q/A Session

Few days ago, we conducted the workshop on Baby Language Development with Dr. Sabahat. The main goal of the workshop was to guide young concerned moms about how children learn languages and how should we interact with children in their young ages when they develop habits from parents.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Sabahat held the special Q/A session with mothers to guide them individually in their concerns. And the Q/A talk was around the shyness of infants, introvert personality, less interactive. Some moms have a concern about the uneasiness of their infants which makes them grumpy and grouchy.

Dr. Sabahat is an American Psychologist with a MS in Counseling Psychology and a PhD in Child Development from the City University of New York. She helps parents in understanding children’s emotions and behavior and supporting their optimal development.

"I believe every child is unique and should be nurtured in all aspects of their development"

She is also a professor and taught courses in psychology such as child development, child psychology and family therapy. As a researcher she conducted research on parenting and moral development, children’s home environments and child social/emotional development.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association ( APA) and the Society for Research in Child Development ( SRCD).
Lastly, a MOM to 3 children :)

Baby Sleep Cycle

How much sleep does your Child need? 

Giving General Idea of Sleep at Various Ages.

1) New Born - 9 Months

2) 12 Months - 18 Months

3) 2 Years - 3 Years

Note: Every child is different. Some babies need up to two hours more or less sleep than other babies.....

Your baby begins to figure out the difference between day and night. Probably catching most of shut-eye during nighttime hours but still sleeping a lot during the day.

One-year-olds often sleep for about 11 hours at night, plus two daytime naps (that may be getting a bit shorter).

Most 2-year-olds still nap in the afternoon and sleep around 10 to 12 hours at night.
